What is a brochure grid?

A brochure grid is shorthand for a typographic grid system designed specifically for brochures (as opposed to posters, exhibition graphics or advertisements). A grid system is the structure of margins, columns and rows that a page is built on, so text and images align consistently from page to page. This A5 grid system template divides each page into 32 modular fields on a 10 pt baseline – text, images and captions sit on those fields rather than being positioned by eye.
